Short answer: a brightening routine works best when it combines an ingredient that targets excess pigment, gentle exfoliation to refresh the skin surface, antioxidant protection, and daily mineral sunscreen. Dr. Batniji Skincare offers four products built for this.
Which products target dark spots and uneven tone?
- Bright Serum: Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid to brighten and even the look of dark spots, plus Niacinamide to strengthen the skin barrier. Suitable for all skin types.
- Skin Brightening Pads: daily treatment pads with Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Vitamin C, Green Tea Polyphenols and Hydroquinone in an easy pad format.
- TCA +: a multi acid serum combining Trichloroacetic Acid, Phytic Acid, Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid to improve the look of discoloration, texture and enlarged pores.
- Prevent+: a water free antioxidant serum with 20% L Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), 1% Ferulic Acid and 1% Vitamin E to brighten and help protect against environmental damage.
How do I combine them?
Start with one targeted product, such as Bright Serum or the Skin Brightening Pads, and add Prevent+ for antioxidant protection. TCA + adds exfoliation for uneven texture and congested pores. Follow with a moisturizer such as Refresh or Restore. Introduce one new active at a time so you can see how your skin responds.
Do I still need sunscreen?
Yes. Daily broad spectrum sunscreen is essential when you are treating discoloration, because sun exposure darkens spots again. See our mineral sunscreen guide.
Is this routine right for sensitive skin?
Bright Serum is suitable for all skin types. Products with acids or Hydroquinone can be stronger, so ask your provider before combining several actives, especially if your skin is sensitive or recovering from a procedure.
